Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by embracing our Customer 1st strategy and inspiring associates to deliver excellent service.
  • Prescription Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of every prescription filled, while also providing patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct, and attitude.
  • Team Leadership: Achieve a thorough knowledge of the trade area, its customers, and its competition, and create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness, and cooperativeness with customers, associates, and outside vendors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain proper records, inventory, and security on all scheduled drugs, and follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment, including computers, printers, accuracy scanners, and cash registers, to ensure it remains in working condition.
  • Policy Adherence: Maintain and organize all policy manuals, reference books, state laws, and required equipment, and verify that all staff is knowledgeable of their use.
  • Signage and Communication: Maintain proper signage in all areas necessary, and make a strong and continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
  • Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Math Skills: Knowledge of basic math, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
  • Stress Management: Ability to handle stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of retail experience.
  • Language Skills: Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
