The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing general medical care and treatment to clients, under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive health assessments, including history and physical examinations, to identify client needs and develop effective care plans.
- Provides consultation and liaison services to ensure seamless care coordination and communication among healthcare team members.
- Prescribes medications and orders diagnostic tests as necessary to diagnose and treat client conditions.
- Collaborates with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans that meet client needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
- Provides education and support to clients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client care and services.
- Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and DEA license, as required by state regulations.
- One or more years of experience as an RN, preferably in a primary care setting.
- CPR and de-escalation certification, with training available upon hire.
