Position / Specialty: CT Tech/X-Ray Tech Start date: 08/12 Shift: 4x10s, Monday-Thursday, Variable Shift: -- First Week: 1p to 1130p CT training (Evenings) at Anderson Hospital; -- Second Week: 8a – 530p CT/Xray training (Days) at Community Hospital of Staunton; -- Remainder of Assignment: Monday through Thursday Evenings 12p to 10:30p at Community Hospital of Staunton Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes – Schedule is Mon-Thurs Weekend REQ: No Is on-call REQ? Yes – On-call for call off coverage only. The on-call response time is 45 minutes or less. Caseload: 75/day Years of experience REQ: 1 year with previous travel experience, 2 years if no travel experience First-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ: - IL license required (IDFPR) - must have in-hand before first shift - BLS required - ARRT required -IEMA Pending License accepted: Yes - but must be in-hand before first shift Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Needs both X-Ray and CT Tech capabilities Locals accepted: Yes – same rate RTO Restrictions: Finalized RTO must be included with submission. No RTO within first week of start date. No more than 10 days of RTO per assignment. Guaranteed Hours: Contracted Hours Special Requirements: - The on-call response time is 45 minutes or less. Adult/Adult Critical Care - Endrotracheal tube/suctioning - Extubation - Oropharyngeal/suctioning - Sputum specimen collection - Tracheostomy/suctioning - Medical Administration (Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Xopenex, Aerosol set up mask and trach, Handheld nebulizer) - Trach collar - CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - BiPAP, CPAP - Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation - ABG interpretation, Basic EKG
