We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health.

About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, working closely with the Nurse Manager to provide guidance and support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments, collect data, and analyze results to inform care decisions
  • Provide direct care to individuals, including medication administration and documentation
  • Coordinate nursing efforts, resolve problems, and maintain unit operations
  • Supervise staff, both clinically and administratively, and document supervision
  • Ensure incident reports and infection control reports are completed within 24 hours
  • Provide in-service trainings and staff meetings, ensuring staff complete mandatory trainings
  • Oversee medication ordering and management, and maintain a clean and organized medication room and lab
  • Communicate with the Nurse Manager on a regular basis to discuss needs, issues, and concerns
  • Cover RN/LPN shifts as needed on the unit
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Licensure/Certification: Georgia License as Registered Nurse
  • Experience: Years of management experience
  • Other: Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver's license/ID, drug screen, TB test, and current CPRO certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Licensure/Certification: Georgia License as Registered Nurse Professional
