Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and evaluating patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting patient-centered care and satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience in critical care nursing, with a strong foundation in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
