We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies using a magnetic resonance imaging device, preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and processing and displaying images.
- Assist in developing protocols for patient studies and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in radiography or a related field recommended.
- Registration with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with the advanced ARRT registry in MRI required.
