About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all building systems, operating the building in an efficient manner, and providing a variety of tenant services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, water treatment, electrical, lighting, plumbing, energy management, fire protection, structural, hardware, and keying.
  • Installation, fabrication, construction, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electrical equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Receipt of work assignments, planning for work to be performed, and obtaining necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Completion of assignments and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Demonstration of a thorough knowledge of equipment being serviced and employment of service procedures and techniques indicative of first-class work.
  • Follow-up of inspection and service procedures outlined in the preventative maintenance and loss control programs.
  • Possession of knowledge of safe and efficient operation of all equipment, power, and hand tools.
  • Responsibility for the care of assigned equipment, tools, and uniforms.
  • Keeping the shop, equipment rooms, and common areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Inspection of all areas of the building(s) and reporting of deficiencies and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive training and certification in HVAC or Operation Engineering Technologies and/or equivalent job-related training and experience.
  • CFC training and certification for the type of equipment serviced.
  • Minimum of 1 year of field experience.
  • Continuing education in the field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations.
