Our client is in search of dedicated Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners to enhance their team in long-term care facilities. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional healthcare services to residents, focusing on diagnosing and managing pulmonary conditions.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify health issues and formulate treatment plans.
- Administer medications, including inhalers and antibiotics, and design pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to establish effective treatment strategies.
- Maintain meticulous medical records for all patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Oversee chronic conditions and track patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the field of Pulmonology.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Educational Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner License is mandatory.
- DEA license is also required.
