Critical Infrastructure Technician
We are seeking a Critical Infrastructure Technician to oversee a vital data center. The technician will be tasked with ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, managing technical and administrative functions related to the operation of critical facility systems, and ensuring compliance with company standards and protocols. The data center operates continuously throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting, conduct preventive maintenance, and execute emergency repairs on critical facility equipment as required and on schedule.
  • Contribute to the preparation of assessments and reports regarding the data center infrastructure, develop project plans, and deliver briefings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Operate and provide both routine and emergency services on a variety of advanced critical systems, including but not limited to: critical power systems, low/medium voltage switchgear, diesel generators, paralleling switchboards, UPS, PDU, and building monitoring systems.
  • Ensure that operational, maintenance, and emergency procedures (MOPs and SOPs) are established and strictly followed.
  • Assist in managing the CMMS database.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years of relevant technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Critical Facilities Operations, particularly with Electrical and Mechanical/HVAC systems such as UPS, Generators, Switchgears, PDUs, CRAC Units, DC Power Systems, CRAH Units, Chillers, Air Handling Units, and building monitoring/control systems.
  • Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining Mission Critical Mechanical and/or Electrical Support Systems is essential.
  • Prior military experience in any branch, particularly with Electrical/Mechanical systems, is highly valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with various computer systems and applications is necessary.
