About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to improve enterprise software and develop data workflows required to support it. As a member of our team, you'll work in a multi-tasking, quick-paced, and dynamic environment using Java and Angular technologies.

You'll also utilize the principles of large-scale database development, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation. In this role, you'll research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software.

You'll develop complex data flows and make significant enhancements to existing pipelines. You'll resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations. You'll research emerging technologies to determine their impact on application execution.

You'll provide input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation. You'll troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for the ETL process. You'll advise hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems.

You'll prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress. You'll provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software engineers.

Requirements
  • Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Have 5+ years of software engineering and ETL experience
  • Demonstrated experience building single-page web applications using Java and Angular
  • Have experience with Git for source control
  • Demonstrate ability to determine the right tool or technology for the task at hand
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, interpersonal, and team building skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, XML, XQuery, XPath, HTML/XHTML, CSS, Python, Shell Scripting, JSON, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems such as Jenkins
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comprehend database methodologies
  • Focus on continual process improvement with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to follow directions and finish tasks
