Automation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Technician to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting automation equipment used for safety systems, data gathering, and other auxiliary services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and troubleshooting of automation equipment used for safety systems, data gathering, and other auxiliary services such as SWD, water transfer systems, and completions
- Collaborate with engineering and SCADA departments to find and implement innovative solutions for existing problems
- Work daily with equipment that monitors pressures, levels, flow, and valve control
- Develop custom logic within PLCs/EFMs for the control of valves, pumps, and alarm monitoring
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of electrical or field automation experience within the oil & gas industry
- Experience with various EFMs/PLCs, Foxboro devices, Freewave radios, Vega products, and Red Lion HMIs is a plus
- Basic PC, Excel, Word, email, and Internet skills
- Ability to learn multiple software programs used in configuration of field devices
- Willingness to be on call and work unscheduled overtime
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
