Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at reducing tax obligations while ensuring adherence to tax legislation.
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of various tax returns, including those for corporations, individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
  • Perform tax research and analysis to uncover planning opportunities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Offer expertise and assistance to internal teams regarding tax matters and support tax planning efforts.
  • Oversee tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and inform internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor the tax team, providing direction and support to team members.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Over 6 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, ideally within public accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience representing clients before tax authorities.
  • Minimum of one year in a supervisory role overseeing tax preparers.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
