Research Scientist Position - Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine
- Job Summary:
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join the Academic Support Staff. Candidates with an M.D. or Ph.D. degree are invited to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth scientific research in pulmonary medicine, focusing on experimental design and preparation of scientific papers
- Develop and write grant proposals to secure funding for research projects
- Collaborate with senior faculty members on research initiatives, including adoptive T cell transfer for fibrosis and cancer treatment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cell culture and animal models of disease
- Ability to work with CAR T cell constructs and lentiviruses
- Familiarity with advanced imaging and flow cytometry techniques
