As a Senior AI Scientist, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant challenges in the healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage in entrepreneurial projects addressing large-scale, real-world healthcare issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather algorithmic and workflow specifications, delivering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct research and develop cutting-edge algorithms for resolving inverse problems in Ultrasound Imaging using Deep Learning techniques, including Generative AI (Diffusion).
  • Participate in rapid prototyping, feasibility assessments, and the design of medical imaging product components.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the field through patent generation and publications in prestigious journals and conferences.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role is designed for a driven professional eager to enhance their career within Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.

  • Possess a Ph.D. in engineering or science disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Physics, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Demonstrate a strong theoretical foundation and expertise in Medical Physics (especially Ultrasound Physics), Imaging Science, and Computational Imaging.
  • Have over 5 years of relevant experience (including Ph.D. studies) with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Inverse Problems.
  • Exhibit a robust publication record in areas related to Machine Learning, Inverse Problems, and Medical Imaging.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras) and proficiency in image processing using Python and C++ is preferred.
  • Graduate research and internship experience in Machine Learning, Inverse Problems, and Medical Imaging is advantageous.
