Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Podiatry and Orthopedics team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with minor procedures, including injections and wound care
  • Complete chart prep, DME application, and suture removals
  • Support surgery scheduling, prior authorizations, and MRI authorizations
  • Assist with casting and cast removal, as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam
  • Completion of either 6 months MA experience or completion of 100-hour MA externship required
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire
