We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team at the Schaumburg Park District.

Job Summary:

The Gymnastics Coach will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging learning environment for participants of all ages and skill levels. This includes designing and implementing gymnastics programs, coaching classes, and developing skills and knowledge in the sport of gymnastics.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement gymnastics programs for participants of all ages and skill levels
  • Coach classes and develop skills and knowledge in the sport of gymnastics
  • Provide a safe and engaging learning environment for participants
  • Work collaboratively with the Gymnastics Coordinator to develop and implement program goals and objectives
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of gymnastics equipment and facilities

Requirements:

  • At least 16 years old
  • Knowledge of gymnastics and/or tumbling
  • Ability to organize and plan time efficiently
  • Professional and positive attitude while working with patrons, park district staff, and volunteers
  • Ability to complete CPR/AED certification within 6 months
