Job Overview

We are in search of a qualified Class A CDL Operator to manage deliveries efficiently within the local area. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in commercial delivery, with air freight experience considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all orders are accurately loaded onto the vehicle according to the delivery schedule.
  • Assist in warehouse operations during slower periods as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills related to the position by participating in educational programs and meetings.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to verify their condition, ensuring proper maintenance and completion of the daily Vehicle Inspection Report.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel at each delivery or pick-up site.
  • Complete all required documentation as instructed by dispatch.
  • Operate a forklift and pallet jack as needed.
  • Lift weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds as required.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving.
