**About the Role**

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician or Histology Technologist to join our team in Virginia. As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination by cutting, staining, and mounting them on slides.
  • Operate microtomes and other laboratory equipment to section and process tissue samples.
  • Conduct quality control checks on tissue samples to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results.

**Requirements:**

  • College degree in a related field, such as histotechnology or a related life science.
  • ASCP certification in histotechnology.
  • Prior experience in a histology laboratory setting.
