Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Matheny Medical and Educational Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information, communicating with healthcare professionals, and participating in staff training and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff
  • Participate in staff training and development, including in-service training and continuing education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
  • Current LPN license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
  • Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
