We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a lifeguard at San Benito Aquatics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise swimming activities at the aquatics center and ensure adherence to safety procedures and guidelines

• Warn of unsafe activities and enforce water safety policies and pool regulations

• Provide first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in danger or distress, and administer CPR or artificial respiration if necessary

• Assess conditions of safety and develop an action plan for aquatics emergencies

• Inspect pool equipment, facilities, and water to ensure they are usable and safe

• Supervise and assist in cleaning equipment and facilities

• Open and close the pool according to schedule and hours

• Organize and oversee pool parties

Requirements:

• Current Lifeguard & First Aid Certification

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods

Availability:

• 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM Monday – Friday, with potential for early morning shifts and weekends

Compensation:

• Competitive wage commensurate with experience
