All candidates must adhere to the 50-mile radius rule and provide a copy of their unexpired driver's license. Candidates should possess BLS certification (ACLS not required) and have experience with various intravenous drips.

The 6 North unit consists of 36 beds dedicated to cardiac and telemetry patients, all of whom are continuously monitored. Common diagnoses include chest pain, post-angioplasty, and Atrial Fibrillation, among others. The unit operates with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, managing drips such as Dopamine, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitroglycerin/Tridil.
