Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lifeguard to join our team at Goldfish Swim School in Centerville. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility
Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergency
Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
Ensure that medical services are contacted by the most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency
Requirements:
Ability to work with children
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must pass background examinations prior to training
Safety Standards:
The safety of our swimmers, parents, and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with following any local guidelines. In addition, we follow these safety precautions and procedures:
Every shift has an on-staff cleaner to sanitize high-touch areas in our lobby and pool areas
Our pools are disinfected with chlorine to provide the safest swimming environment
The CDC states that proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection of the water with chlorine should remove or inactivate the virus
