We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at The Salvation Army Central Territory. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from specified destinations while representing The Salvation Army with a professional and polite demeanor.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a Salvation Army truck to pick-up and transport materials to and from specified destinations as assigned.
- Consistently represent The Salvation Army with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Provide exceptional service to donors and beneficiaries.
- Ensure compliance to all DOT and OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections of air, water, oil, lights, etc. to maintain equipment in excellent working order.
- Wear any and all assigned PPE provided, including but not limited to gloves, masks, or back guard.
- Maintain a neat appearance in accordance with ARC dress code policy for drivers.
- Responsible for loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Must be available for a flexible schedule; to work early shifts, late shifts, and some weekends.
- Ability to safely operate a Salvation Army truck.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
