RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiothoracic ICU at our New Brunswick campus. This part-time, night position (36 hours/week) requires a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong background in critical care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiothoracic ICU, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiothoracic nursing.
- Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse license required.
- BSN required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- ACLS required.
- Telemetry experience required.
- Cluster certified preferred.
- ICU experience required.
- 2-3 years of previous Cardiothoracic experience preferred.
