We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical and counseling services to patients, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' medical history, mental health history, and current presentation to understand their needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and implement individual, family, or group psychotherapy plans, collaborating with the behavioral health team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide referrals to community services, treatment programs, support groups, and other mental health providers as needed.
- Properly document patient information and develop discharge plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct psychological testing as indicated by patient condition and comply with federal, state, and local standards.
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current Utah license as a psychologist.
- Adherence to American Psychological Association, State Licensing Board, and Intermountain Healthcare standards of practice.
- Experience in a behavioral health outpatient setting is preferred.
