We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Position at Green Thumb Environmental Beautification Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Grounds Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on parks and historic sites, including mowing, pruning, and cleaning.
- Painting and Repair: Paint standalone objects and items, such as benches and signs, and assist with minor interior and exterior repairs.
- Cleaning Duties: Clean picnic tables, concrete pads, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Check and report any irregularities with lights, pumps, furnace, and water heaters.
- Inventory and Clerical: Sort and inventory materials, and assist with clerical duties as needed.
- Assistance and Reporting: Assist state DOT workers with facility repairs and report any vandalism or irregularities to the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in facilities with varying levels of maintenance needs.
