Peters & Monyak, LLP is seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our defense team, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of medical malpractice cases with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle case management, including tracking deadlines and drafting responses to discovery requests.
  • Oversee nurse, paralegal, and secretary staff to ensure tasks are delegated and instructions are clear.
  • Cover depositions and write reports for same.
  • Assist in trial preparation and attend trial.
  • Communicate with expert witnesses and assist in organizing materials for review.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of civil litigation experience (defense).
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
