Job Summary:This is a locum tenens opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician to work in a busy emergency department with a high patient volume. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions
- Perform procedures such as suturing, casting, and splinting
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Active MO medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
This is a full-time opportunity with a shift schedule of 8 hours per day. The emergency department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The facility is located in Springfield, MO, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
