Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Senior PsychCare in Hugo, Oklahoma.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. As a member of our team, you will work closely with Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to deliver comprehensive patient care.

• Conduct brief cognitive and emotional assessments, psychotropic medication management, and gradual dosage reductions
• Collaborate with nursing home staff to develop effective treatment plans
• Provide telehealth services when appropriate
• Participate in regular treatment team meetings and in-services

To be successful in this role, you must have experience prescribing and/or recommending psychotropic medications in a psychiatric setting. A strong understanding of geriatric psychiatry and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
