Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Paramedic or AEMT to join our team at ClearChoiceMD's state-of-the-art urgent care facility in Scarborough, ME.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medical duties such as taking patient histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for examination and treatment.
  • Assist providers with exams and testing, including pelvic exams, eye and/or ear irrigations, I & D's, joint injection preparation, and casting/splinting preparation.
  • Perform phlebotomy, laboratory paperwork, Point of Care testing, and other clinical duties as needed.
  • Administer medication and dispense medication as directed by providers.
  • Document patient files, records, and forms accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments, and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience as an EMT-A or higher with a current license in ME, NH, or VT.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Some prior experience in an emergency room or urgent care setting preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with hours from 8am-8pm, 3 days a week, with a rotating weekend shift. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
