As an outpatient physical therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care plans emphasizing strength building, mobility, balance improvement, and pain reduction.
- Manage a diverse orthopedic caseload, treating individuals with injuries, pain, or movement dysfunctions, as well as active older adults focused on mobility and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and healthcare teams to coordinate care effectively.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Delaware state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and/or part of the PT compact program.
- Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum degree of Bachelor's in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
- Basic Life Support CPR Certification.
