Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer inquiries through our specialized software, ensuring all aspects of the patient transfer process are handled efficiently.
  • Exhibit a strong customer service ethos, committed to resolving requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in determining patient destinations, selecting appropriate transportation methods, and coordinating with various transportation agencies.
  • Play a vital role in the BedFinder process by communicating with hospitals regarding bed availability and facilitating patient placement.

Essential Functions:

  • Receive and coordinate all incoming requests, collaborating with medical facilities and transportation services.
  • Maintain clear communication with hospitals to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.

Additional Requirements:

  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a respectful and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of relevant experience or training preferred.
  • Experience in dispatch or familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Professional communication skills for telephone and radio interactions.

Skills:

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
