Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with communication disorders and oropharyngeal dysphagia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify communication disorders and oropharyngeal dysphagia.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, prevent disability, and promote maximum potential.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication disorders and oropharyngeal dysphagia.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based research in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology.
  • BLS certification through AHA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and documentation systems.
