About the Role

We're seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Engineering Intern to work onsite at our Tulsa, OK facility full-time this summer. As an intern, you'll engage in hands-on, real-world experience through impactful projects, professional development, community outreach, and a final capstone project. You'll be exposed to various engineering disciplines, including manufacturing, quality assurance, electronics, and industrial engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Assist in continuous improvement activities, such as process flow documentation, 5S implementation, and process enhancements. Support New Product Development through participation in team meetings and tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and optimize inspection processes, manage customer certification and quality management systems, and coordinate internal audits and corrective action processes. Implement statistical analysis on products and processes.
  • Manufacturing Support: Design fixtures, support production to ensure on-time delivery and high quality, and work on the manufacturing floor to improve yield. Conduct time studies, process maps, and capacity plans.
  • Equipment & Document Management: Manage CMM equipment, calibration processes, and document control within the facility.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial engineering or a related field required.
  • No prior experience necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with additional knowledge in CAD, PC-DMIS software, and statistical analysis preferred.
  • Basic understanding of lean principles and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and a natural curiosity for problem-solving.

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
  • Depending on the assigned department, must be able to complete an audiogram.
