We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Hospital Billing Application Analyst to join our IT Clinical Applications department at The University of Chicago Medicine. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity, and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance on complex projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Document requirements in business requirement documentation standard format, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Recommend technology solutions to address complex business problems, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Develop new or revise existing system logic or configuration, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Lead projects with moderate budgets, mentoring less experienced Business Application Analysts and driving team success.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management, or information systems.
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification.
- Experience managing integrated 3rd party systems with Epic.
- Solid grounding in information systems, understanding general strategy drivers, industry-specific issues, and the linkage between user needs and system enablers.
- Demonstrated expertise within a specialized area of information systems software implementation.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and assess work to meet deadlines and cope in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills.
- Experience developing presentations for project work and planning and facilitating meetings with diverse participants.
- Minimum 10 years' experience with information system software solutions.
- Epic Home Health Billing certification.
- Epic Hospice Billing certification.
- Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) certification.
