Job Summary:
Loyola University Health System is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating complex radiographic equipment, including PACS, and providing technical support to patients, physicians, and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment, including PACS, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide technical support to patients, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Assist with tasks that support the unit in maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Participate in the teaching and instructing of other technicians, including professional and non-professional personnel, in all aspects of procedure room techniques.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate complex radiographic equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
