At Indiana University Health, we're seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant I to join our team at Beltway's Academic Health Center. As a key member of our laboratory services team, you'll play a vital role in providing general laboratory services, including specimen collection, order entry, blood component preparation, and pre-analytic processing of specimens. You'll also be responsible for related clerical tasks, patient and specimen registration, and delivery of specimens.

Requirements for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a phlebotomy training program, and experience in laboratory or coursework in biological, chemical, or related sciences. A valid Indiana Operator's license and a good driving history for the last three years may also be required. Additionally, you'll need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work as a team member, and a proven understanding of computers.
