Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and conduct activities to help patients with disabilities and injuries improve their fine motor skills, cognition, sensory processing, and physical stamina.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver treatments effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities and injuries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or planning to take the exam.
