Job Summary

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for fitness and sales? We're seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at Fitness Connection. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving new members to change their lives through fitness, and creating a strong sales culture in your club.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing sales team, maintain a focus on coaching, feedback, and accountability to achieve club sales results
Recruit, hire, and promote Fitness Consultants in partnership with Club Manager
Develop and train new and newly promoted Fitness Consultants
Identify high-potential talent for growth and consistently recognize and reward great performance
Maintain strong and consistent people practices with all teammates, taking appropriate action as needed
Create sales schedules to ensure accurate coverage and efficient use of labor hours to submit for CM approval

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred
Minimum of 12 months of similar experience with a proven record of success required, preferably in the fitness industry
Knowledge of the Fitness industry and necessary sales acumen
Knowledge and skills in staffing with proven record of results
Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and able to adapt to new systems easily
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record required
Criminal background check will be performed as a term of employment
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business-related documents such as financial reports and legal documents
Ability to respond verbally and in writing to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to district management and club leadership and to members of the business community
Fluent in written and spoken English required, addition of Spanish skills a plus
