- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of good safety practices and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Journeyman level skills supported by completion of a Journeyman Mechanical Training Program or Mechanical Training Apprenticeship Program.
- Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment.
- Must be able to work in a heavy-industrial environment.
- Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Lift Trucks and MEWP's (scissor lifts/aerial lifts/articulating boom lifts).
- Must be able to work from heights and climb ladders to access locations.
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach below/above shoulders to access equipment for repair.
- Must be able to lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Compensation: $27 to $32/hr, flexible schedule.
Competencies: Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and quality, effective communication skills, and ability to work in multiple functional areas.
