Overview:
Grace Village Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor for the evening shift. This role is essential for overseeing the nursing department during the second shift, ensuring high-quality care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide managerial and clinical support between the nurse manager and the Health Facility Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures, utilizing independent judgment in their application.
- Facilitate effective communication with nursing staff and residents.
- Conduct visual assessments and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Assist in the delivery of care and services to residents, including managing staff reports and care directions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Willingness to work the second shift, Monday through Friday.
- CPR and First-Aid certification is advantageous.
Work Environment:
This position requires standing for extended periods on various surfaces and involves occasional lifting and carrying of items, including assisting residents in wheelchairs.
