Job Summary

Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a skilled Sealer to join our team. As a Sealer, you will be responsible for applying sealing compounds to major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and precision bench components. You will also perform pressure/vacuum tests to ensure the integrity of the aircraft sections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cells and wing section components
  • Perform visual and auditory leak checks in aircraft sections
  • Use measuring instruments to accomplish work assignments
  • Report and investigate job handicaps such as errors, assembly procedures, tools, and sequences
  • Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees
Requirements
  • Pass the WorkKeys Assessment or provide verification of passing the assessment
  • Ability to work any shift, including alternative work weeks
  • Relocation is available for qualified candidates
  • Eligibility for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years
