Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Revenue Agent to join our team at the Internal Revenue Service. As an Internal Revenue Agent, you will be responsible for conducting examinations and investigations to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct examinations and investigations to identify and address tax non-compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve tax compliance and reduce tax evasion
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to share information and best practices
  • Provide training and guidance to other agents and staff on tax laws and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to examinations and investigations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in tax compliance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
