Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Evening RN Supervisor at The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supervision to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to our nursing team, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care and services.
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for our residents, addressing their unique needs and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Monitor and manage the administration of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • License: Licensed to practice in New York State.
