Job Summary:
The Tri-City Storm is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to lead our sports medicine program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing injury prevention programs, conducting thorough evaluations and management of injuries, and providing expert treatment and rehabilitation services to our athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Injury Prevention and Management: Design and implement comprehensive injury prevention programs to minimize the risk of injury to our athletes.
- Medical Evaluations and Referrals: Coordinate and schedule physical examinations and medical referrals for athletes to determine their ability to practice and compete.
- Performance Enhancement: Develop and implement customized fitness, nutrition, and conditioning programs to enhance individual and team performance.
- Team Support: Provide athletic training services at all team practices and games, ensuring the health and well-being of our athletes.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of athlete injuries, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in athletic training, preferably in a sports medicine setting.
- Certification/License: Certified by the BOC - State Athletic Training Licensure.
