Role Summary
The BIM (Revit) Technician will be responsible for creating 3D models and producing detail drawings using Revit software. This role requires a strong understanding of Revit software and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Model Development: Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models using Revit software.
- Detail Drawing Creation: Produce high-quality plans, sections, and details within Revit software.
- Point Cloud Analysis: Process and interpret point cloud data for use in model development.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, architectural, and MEPF disciplines, to execute design and as-built projects.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications.
Requirements
- Software Expertise: Proficiency in Revit software.
- Communication Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Collaboration Experience: Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Desirable Skills: Familiarity with point cloud processing and Scan-to-BIM workflows is a plus.
