Emerald Health Services is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Room

Shift: Night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Contract Duration: 14 weeks

The traveler is expected to work during two holidays.

Qualifications:
  • Valid GA Nursing License
  • Minimum of 2 Years' Experience
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • NIH Certification
Additional Information:
  • Unit welcomes first-time travelers
  • Must be comfortable and experienced with pediatric patients as the ER treats all age groups
  • Floating to sister facilities may be required
  • Patient Demographics: Infants to Geriatrics
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first-time travelers, Must be comfortable and experienced with pediatric patients as the ER treats all age groups

PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS: Infants to Geriatrics

NURSE-TO-PATIENT RATIO: 1:3

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS: ACLS, BLS, PALS

FLOATING: Within skillset; to sister facilities

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

WEEKENDS: Average every other weekend

HOLIDAY WORK:

If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major Holidays include:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

FULL COMPLIANCE REQUIRED to start on time; if not compliant, the start date may be delayed by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
