Advanced MRI Technologist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in MRI technology, with a strong focus on producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The role will involve operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment, performing patient studies according to set protocols, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

As an MRI Technologist with Focus Staff, you will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Fully proficient in MRI and knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, benefits include health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and new licensing reimbursement.
