About the Role:
The Meat Cutter is a crucial member of our Golden Corral team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our guests. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent cutting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards to optimize profit and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
- Rotate and stock cut and boxed meat to maintain freshness and meet customer demands.
- Adhere to approved food safety guidelines when stocking and arranging the Meat Cooler.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
- Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and other meats to prevent cross-contamination.
- Recognize and remove spoiled meat to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
- Comply with local health department regulations.
Operational Excellence:
- Use administration forms to maintain an accurate inventory of meat products and determine production levels.
- Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
- Perform opening and closing administrative procedures to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
- Complete duty roster tasks as assigned.
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
