Occupational Therapist Job Description

Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Jacksonville, FL area in a school-based setting. As a leading provider of behavior, mental health, and therapy services in schools, centers, and communities, we are committed to inspiring and nurturing growth for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and address disorders and delays that impact students' daily activities and educational goals.
  • Develop and improve individual students' ability to perform tasks independently.
  • Collaborate with the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team to develop and implement occupational therapy plans.
  • Facilitate goals and objectives aligned with each child's educational plan.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
  • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop programs for eligible students.
  • Perform other occupational therapy duties and responsibilities as required by the program and within the scope of licensure and certification.
